CBRN Awareness for First Responders

This course provides training for interagency response representatives in the organization of an effective chemical, biological, and/or radiological incident response.  Special consideration is also given to CBRN incident consequence management considerations. 

Learning Objective:
This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the current and emerging CBRN threat environment, the dynamics of civilian-military operational interaction, the key principles of CBR consequence management (including scenarios involving the release of toxic industrial chemicals), and the foundational principles of CBRN Warning and Reporting management.

Expected Training Audience:
Prospective students should have a background in or are currently working in the fields of fire and rescue, police, paramedic services, or some other first responder profession; either civilian or military.  Students must possess good English language skills.
