Read more: ABU DHABI Police General Headquarters (GHQ) visited VyškovJoint CBRN Defence Centre of Excellence (JCBRND COE) supported the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” conducting a CBRN Workshop at the ABU DHABI Police General Headquarters (GHQ) on 27th and 28th June 2018.  On that occasion LtCol Allert, Chief of the COE’s Doctrine & Terminology Section, briefed on “Lessons Learned from the impacts of CBRN substances”.  Hence, first contacts between the JCBRND COE and the ABU DHABI Police GHQ have been established.  On 19th July 2019 the GHQ counter-visited the COE in Vyškov led by LtCol Mohamed Ebrahim AlAli, Director of CBRN Administration, Emergency and Public Safety, AD Police GHQ.  Professor Amer Abbas Hosin, Senior Executive and Scientific Advisor to the ABU DHABI Police Emergency and Public Safety Directorate, Major Mohamed Salem Alameri, and First Lieutenant Salem Subaih Alkaabi, completed the team.

NATO Education and Training requirements identified the need for a course dedicated to this topic , as defined in the NATO WMD/CBRN Defence Training Needs Analysis (TNA).

Read more: THE 59th EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL INTER-SERVICE WORKING GROUP (EODWG) MEETING The 59th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Interservice Working Group (EODWG) meeting took place at Kiel Naval Base in Kiel (DEU) from 22-25 October 2019. The enduring aim of the EODWG was to ensure standardization in the EOD field as it supports joint and combined operations, and to advise the Military Committee on EOD topics and issues.

Read more: The European Union CBRN expert teamThe European Union CBRN expert team supported by the JCBRN Def COE deployed to United Arab Emirates (UAE) to support UAE in further development of its national CBRN defence capabilities. This mission was the first expert mission based on UAE requirement and will be followed by consequent visits to promote national CBRN defence capability and to ensure that they reflect current CBRN threats in the region. By that, the JCBRN Def COE continue to develop its relation towards EU as outlined in the NATO – EU declaration.
