On the 5th of November 2021, the Indian Armed Forces Delegation led by General Bipin Rawat, Indian Chief of Defence Staff visited the JCBRN Defence Centre of Excellence (COE) in Vyškov, Czech Republic. He was accompanied by Major General Rajiv Gadihoke, Brigadier Lakhbinder Singh Singh Lidder, Group Captain Vinod Kumar Pillai and Colonel Anupam Ashish.

The visit was hosted by the JCBRN Defence COE director, Colonel David MARTÍNEK, and he was accompanied by the Deputy Director, Colonel Wolfgang REICH, Chief of Staff, Colonel William EPOLITO, Senior Enlisted Advisor, Senior Warrant Officer Kamil ŠESTÁK, TSD Director, Colonel Grzergorz Szymanski, Acting TEED Director Lieutenant Colonel Jiří Chrástek, OSD Director Colonel Gaetan Boireau, RB Section Chief Lieutenant Stephen Mellor, MS Section Chief Lieutenant Colonel Richard Hanák.

The aim of the visit was to provide the delegation with an overview of the JCBRN Defence COE structure, mission, capabilities, activities and outreach with special emphasis on CBRN reachback, modelling and simulation.

The delegation was very impressed and interested in the unique capabilities of the JCBRN Defence COE.
